Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Philadelphia Flyers showed us the advantage of using Instant Replay to support to officiating crew. Several times throughout the game, including overtime, Instant Replay helped confirm or reverse calls that would have decided the game. It’s doesn’t really slow the game down that much, and it’s nice for everyone to end the game feeling as if things were done right.
