2010 World Cup – Although Sani Kaita did not actually touch (or maybe just slightly at best) the Greek player, the ref had no choice but to give him a red card. It’s a mistake I’m sure Kaita will regret for the rest of his life, and was certainly just a rush of blood to the head. The reason for the red card, is that this is no different than throwing a punch and missing. The ref is judging intent. You have to know better. This may change the outcome of this game, and allow Greece, who was the weaker team to get back in the game. Who do you think will win the Nigeria Greece game?
